Carte Blanche to Saodat Ismailova

In collaboration with the Galerie de l'UQAM, this double screening is an exceptional occasion to meet Uzbek artist and filmmaker Saodat Ismailova (Berlinale, Venice Biennale), who will discuss her work, in relation with two films of her cinematography, preserved in the Cinémathèque québécoise's archives and handpicked by her : Triptych (1980) by Ali Khamraev and Dear, Dearest, Beloved, Unique... (1985) by Dinara Asanova.
