In August, under the warm summer sun, the heart of downtown Montreal pulsates to the beat of the Indigenous Presence International Festival. Concerts, dance, film, and a variety of performances—this multifaceted celebration expresses the soul of peoples whose ancient roots remain alive on their ancestral lands.
