Wantastigan – what will remain still

Universities, museums and private collections are filled with objects holding knowledge dating back to time immemorial. These objects will never again rest in the palm of our hands. Wantastigan – what will remain still (2025) is an architectural projection that is the result of a reflection on our use of digital technology to safeguard our knowledge. Created using photogrammetry of objects from the reserve of the Musée des Abénakis d'Odanak, the projection explores our connection to objects with which we can no longer come into contact, but which are bearers of ancestral knowledge.
